Help grow the creative economy

According to Seattle’s 2019 Creative Economy Report, the city’s creative economy contributes $119 billion to Washington state’s GDP (10.3%), the highest in the nation. The largest creative sector, β€œCreative Technology,” includes jobs using the same software and skills as those in tech fields.

Yet, artists working in the Creative Technology sector are paid 4x less than their tech counterparts. Future Arts works towards closing this wage gap by creating opportunities for technologists, creatives, and community members to work together and make innovative experiences using cutting-edge technology.
