We are humans who support, develop, and create an equitable arts + technology ecosystem
Futureπ₯Sparks Manifesto
I believe tech should be used for good
creating abundance for my community &
the environment.
I am a creative thinker
seeking collaborations,
generative discussions, or creative jams.
Iβm excited for more interactive art events
everyone feels welcome attending.
I support building fair wage jobs
that empower creative minds
& sustainable futures.
I want future-forward youth programs
that embrace emerging technologies
as tools for expression and connection.
*We suggest picking a level corresponding to 1 hour of your wage/month to support our mission of closing Seattleβs
highest wage gap in the country between arts + tech occupations through our programs

Programs Overview
Young Futures
Teaching our youth to use technology for good. Climate change, mental health, ancestral storytelling β all themes that artists bring into emerging technology development. We are creating curriculum and working with local colleges to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to skill building and learning.
Public & Civic Artworks
Developing from the needs stated in multiple Creative Economy survey needs, we are building public artworks and civic programs that help revitalize our town and bring unique accessible experience to the community through technology.
Artist Residencies
(FAIR Programs)
We want every technology company to have an artist leading their innovation teams and thought processes. This ensures our technology is being made in a humanistic, empathetic way, and our communities are connected and in dialogue with the leaders of technology.
Our Program Partners
Becoming a FUTURE π₯ SPARK welcomes you into our process & allows us to grow our programs, ensuring #EqualWagesForAll.
We are changing Seattleβs history as a cultural technology leader, building inclusive opportunities worldwide for underserved artists. Wherever you live, your spark π₯ ignites an inclusive, accessible future.
Will you join us in Building a better ecosystem for
arts + technology?
Community + Artist Voices
βThe students brought their imagination, light heartedness and sense of wonder to the tools which showed me how much these tools can be used to further creativity and provide new ways of making.β
-Athr, Future Artist, AR Teacher, Coyote Central Partnership
βFuture Arts is a bridge between communities, creatives, and the past and future. Multifaceted conversations like those encouraged by Future Arts are essential in navigating the new horizons of art and technology.β
-Nina Vichayapai, ARtPops Artist, 2022
βThe slow process of research and concept development allowed me to arrive at a place where nothing was compromised and the sensitivity of the information was preserved. The community engagement piece was important for us to see how our work resonated with people.β
-Divine Ndemeye, Future Artist in Residence 2023
βAugment Seattle was a breath of fresh digital air! So cool to see so many talented artists together from around the world; digital and physical. And to watch people come together in the community and experience art in different ways. Please do more!β
-Matt Bogue, Creative Technology Partner, 2022
βFuture Arts curated one of the best shows I have ever been a part of. Really respecting artists time and process, the collective work of international artists was very impressive. From design process to execution, Future Arts really did an amazing job.β
-Gabriel Bello-Diaz, Artist, Augment Seattle 2022
