Yuliya (Julia) Bruk, Founder, Creative Director (she/they)
Yuliya is a Soviet-born creative that loves to ask “why”, pet her plants, and bring humans together. After graduating from the University of Washington with a BFA in Digital Arts and Experimental Media, she founded multiple grassroots creative spaces, offering accessible genre-bending programming while running her photography and filmmaking practice and business. Afterward, she spent nearly a decade as a senior art director on global marketing & experiential design teams in corporate, while curating local and global new media art events, such as VMF’s Winter Arts augmented reality festival. They are committed to bringing dignity to Seattle and worldwide by developing opportunities for underserved communities in the exponentially growing arts and technology spaces to build an accessible culture of abundance.
Anna Czoski, Co-Founder, Creative Technology Director (she/they)
Anna inhabits the evolving interconnectivity of art, science, and technology, which has led her to multiple National Astronomical League Awards in imaging, research, and educational outreach, a Bachelor of Science and of Fine Arts in Digital Arts & Experimental Media at the University of Washington, and a series of design consultancies as well as to co-founding a virtual reality art & game company. Additionally, she serves on both the community engagement and development committees of SoundBio Lab, a non-profit life-sciences maker space.
In her art practice, she listens to and explores ancient symbiosis in nature, finding alternative structures in bioArt that redefine beauty, and function, and asks what it means to co-create with living material - the original technology.
Laara Garcia | Co-Founder, Creative Experience Director (she/they)
Laara Garcia grew up a baker's daughter, is a plant enthusiast, and a former champion high school wrestler. She attended Cornish College of the Arts before she graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in dance, choreography, and production. After college she was showcased by On the Boards, as part of Northwest New Works, creating a multimedia dance piece and collaborating with dozens of artists on the production. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and events planning industries, Laara championed a new concept bar in Seattle’s budding tech hub, South Lake Union (Gold Bar, 2018) through conception, design, and operations. She is looking forward to smooshing together her love for tastemaking, design, and gathering to create hyper-immersive experiences.

Sabin Timalsena is a Nepali computational artist and creative technologist with interests in geometry, generative art, and interactive experiences. He has a strong foundation in Computer Science and enjoys utilizing principles from mathematics and nature to design systems that create structure from chaos. Motivated by the ambition to use programming as a creative outlet, not merely as a tool for automation or optimization, Sabin is active in independent research and development of algorithms that create art. His work has been showcased as interactive and XR experiences in Seattle, Toronto, and Germany. As a part of the Seattle Creative Code group, he has been organizing meetups and pop-up art shows to connect local creative technologists and encourage community and collaboration.
Joshua Borsman integrates technology with artistry and often intersects analog and digital mediums. Drawing from a rich background in engineering and signal processing, Joshua transforms data into tangible artistic expressions. His multidisciplinary practice encompasses control theory, computer vision, biofeedback, real-time sensors, motor controls, machine learning, custom algorithms, projection mapping, mixed reality, and robotics. By blending these diverse elements, Joshua creates immersive experiences that merge seamlessly with organic environments such as natural landscapes, plants, music compositions, oceans, earthquakes, light, sound, paint, and urban settings. Driven by a passion for discovery and innovation, Joshua employs art as a catalyst for pushing boundaries and challenging conventional thinking. Through his anti-disciplinary approach, he explores uncharted territories and pioneers creative avenues, forging new connections between technology and nature.
